We bring you together with stakeholders all over the world in the most efficient way - to discuss business opportunities, projects, and joint activities.
2018 the OiER received the exclusive status of the Excellence Center by the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE). The UN Centre of Excellence on Smart and Sustainable Cities managed by the OiER is a global program serving as a multi-stakeholder city/industry platform for active collaboration of the private, public and finance sector, as well as cities and civil society, to co-act and implement innovative smart and sustainable urban solutions.
For our industry partners, the initiative is constructed to work in a partnership approach with decision-makers and cities to assess urban priorities and needs, develop and identify projects and integrate emerging technologies. OiER builds a neutral platform within these matchmaking activities which enables a more effective and successful engagement between the stakeholders.
The Excellence Center in particular will: support the co-creation process of all stakeholders involved; increase the awareness and opportunities of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs); encourage cooperation among international, national and local stakeholders; promote the exchange of best practices and business solutions among countries and cities.
OiER offers a co-creation space where leaders, scientists, creatives, coders, world-leading corporates & startups unite to help ideas become reality.
The Smart City LAB in Vienna provides an ideal setting for effective collaboration between city representatives, companies, start-ups, and top smart city experts locally and internationally. It also supports the effortless coordination and development of multiple projects by diverse teams among various stakeholders.
Use the local smart city community and experts to design, discuss and co-create new ways to develop sustainable products that perfectly fits the needs and wants of your target audience.
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are the core of the United Nations Agenda 2030 (Transformation of our World for Sustainable Development). In a collaboration between business, public sector, and its citizens the program has been set up to pro-actively support all stakeholders on the path to act smart and sustainable within their project management.
OiER has developed a half-day workshop to introduce the SDGs to employees and the management team - why, what, how. The workshop is created to highlight possible opportunities within the field of corporate social responsibility (CSR) and showcase sustainable activities to align the company's strategy with the UN's sustainability goals, or it can simply be a knowledge platform as a basis for considering what you want to do next.
As we see Sustainability as one of the largest business cases of the future more insights on the topic can build the foundation of further revenue streams for corporates – no matter which size.
